DriftAI ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, how we use and protect it, and your rights. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. Information we collect

Contact details you give us — name, email, phone/WhatsApp, and the details you type into our forms.
Your resume, when you use our free AI resume-score tool or purchase a resume service.
Account information if you create a member account (name, email, and an encrypted password).
Basic usage data such as pages visited, collected to improve the site.

2. How we use your information

To provide the services you request (score your resume, deliver resume services, run the Job Hunt program, manage your membership).
To contact you about your order or enquiry.
To send you service-related updates about your order (you can opt out any time).
To operate, secure, and improve the website.

3. Your resume & the AI score tool

When you upload a resume to our free score tool, it is sent to our AI provider solely to generate your score and is not stored by us afterward. For paid resume services, we retain your resume only as long as needed to deliver the work and support you.

4. Sharing & third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate — for example payment processing (Stripe), hosting (Netlify), and AI processing — and only to the extent needed to deliver our services. Some of these providers may process data outside Canada.

5. Data protection

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and reputable, security-audited providers. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable safeguards to protect your information.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent at any time. To do so, email support@driftai.info.

7. Cookies

We use minimal cookies/local storage needed to run features like member login. We do not use invasive advertising trackers.
